Which Music Program is Right for You?
Jr Band . . .
Junior Band is for students who are 8-11 years old and are new to their instrument or have up to 2 years of playing experience.
Most students begin this program on an instrument such as: flute, clarinet, trumpet or percussion. Violin students are welcome to join if they are also taking private music instruction.
This class runs for 22 classes from Oct '25 to Mar '26 and takes place in the Showcase Concert on March 29/26 at Festival Place in Sherwood Park. Students must bring their instrument, a music stand and a pencil to class each week. All sheet music is provided by Azure Music.
Sherwood Park: Tuesdays 10:30-11:15am / Stony Plain: Wednesdays 2:30-3:15pm
Full Season Tuition: $425
Register'B' Band . . .
This Band Class is best suited for beginner students who are 12-17 years old OR ages 10+ who have completed at least one year of Junior Band OR have passed the Azure Proficiency Test.
Instruments accepted in this class include but are not limited to: flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, percussion, and violin. Additional instruments may be considered such as piano, guitar and bass. Please contact Vanessa to inquire.

This intermediate level band class is best suited for students who are 12-17 years old and have at least 2 years experience in a band program OR have passed the Azure Proficiency Test.
